Burning lessons

Students at Most Holy Redeemer School heard some fiery rhetoric Wednesday, but that was OK because it was all part of the Fire Department's fire prevention program. He places a kindergartner's shoe in a shoe shining machine, only to find that it burned up because the smoke detector had no batteries and didn't go off. Magically, her shoe was returned to her.
